Patron Tier - $150

Choose this option to help fund participation for early-career artists facing financial barriers. Your support keeps our community accessible and inclusive.

Member Tier - $100

Our regular pricing for Brickbottom Artist Association Members and ensures your ability to participate by using your own studio space or being assigned a space within our building.

Emerging Artists Tier - $25

To qualify as an emerging artist, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • You are under 30 years old

  • You have fewer than 3 years of exhibition experience (solo or group shows)

  • You are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate arts program

  • You are returning to art practice after a significant hiatus (5+ years)

  • You have a real financial need and would otherwise be unable to participate

No formal portfolio review is required. This is self-reported — we trust you to be honest about your stage of practice.

We require that Emerging Artists volunteer 5 hours of time to the Brickbottom Artists Association to help spread flyers, do gallery sitting, or help set up for our Open Studios event.

Need Help Covering Costs?

We want Open Studios to be accessible to all members of our community. If the registration fee is a barrier to participation, please reach out to openstudios@brickbottom.org to discuss volunteer opportunities that can help offset the cost. Let’s find a way to make it work — we’re happy to chat.

Late Registration Fee

To ensure we have enough time to prepare promotional materials and organize logistics, registration will increase to $150 for anyone who signs up after October 1. We strongly encourage artists to register early to avoid this fee and ensure full inclusion in marketing and printed materials.

What happens if I register, but can no longer participate?

If you need to back out of the event for whatever reason, we’ll refund half of your participation fee if you cancel up to two weeks before the event. After that, we will not be able to offer a refund.
