GENERAL

Volunteers help with greeting visitors, checking people in, assisting with set-up/clean-up, supporting artists and affiliate hosts, wayfinding, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.

No. Anyone can volunteer. We welcome neighbors, friends, family, and community members alike!

Most shifts are 2–3 hours. You can sign up for multiple shifts if you’d like to be more involved.

Yes! Many artists take shifts before or after their open hours, or swap off with a studio mate. We also encourage you to ask friends, family, and teenage or adult children to volunteer with you!
SCHEDULING & SIGN UPS

Use our volunteer sign-up form. You’ll be able to see available shifts and select the times that work for you.

You can cancel or switch your volunteer slot by following the links in your confirmation email after signing up. You can email openstudios@brickbottom.org or reach out to the volunteer coordinator.

DAY-OF LOGISTICS

Check in at the Volunteer Desk in the main lobby at the Brickbottom Artists Building or Joy Street, depending on where you signed up to volunteer.
HELPING VISITORS

Text the volunteer coordinator or direct the guest to the Information Desk at in the Main Lobby.

Notify the Volunteer Coordinator through text or phone call, or direct them to the Information Desk in the main lobby if assistance is needed.

Contact the Volunteer Desk immediately or call 911 for urgent situations.
