Green is the theme of the spring 2019 Brickbottom Artists Association (BAA) Members’ Exhibition.
Show Dates: April 18-May 18
Opening reception: Sunday, April 28, 5-7 pm.
“Call her green and the winters can not fade her,” said Joni Mitchell, and the artist members of the Brickbottom Artists Association are taking her advice. For the annual Spring Members’ Exhibition BAA artists are thinking Green. Green represents the fresh, new growth in the spring. It brings to mind plants, gardening, and the environment. We use Green to talk about recycling and sustainability. We also use it to refer to money. One can be Green with envy (or nausea). To be Green is to be inexperienced or naive — a rookie. It’s not easy being Green!
Come experience the greening of the Brickbottom Gallery!
For this group exhibition artist members share their interpretations in a variety of media including painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, fractal flames and more!
