10th Annual Somerville Toy Camera Fest

Since 2013, the Somerville Toy Camera Fest has celebrated the quirky and creative results that can happen when photographers are forced to loosen their controls, submit to the light and embrace the accidental. Each year since, the Festival has brought a wide range of toy camera photography by US and international artists together in simultaneous shows at galleries throughout the city (or online, in pandemic years).

The 2023 Festival will feature juried exhibitions of photography at the Brickbottom Gallery, Nave Gallery, and Washington Street Gallery. Announcement of this year’s juror(s), a call for entries, and info on Festival programming will be posted on the Somerville Toy Camera Fest website, and its Instagram and Facebook accounts once details are finalized.

Brickbottom Gallery

The Brickbottom Gallery is a non-profit exhibition space established in 1989 and run by the Brickbottom Artists' Association (BAA). It is open to emerging and established artists in the greater Boston metropolitan area. Shows are scheduled throughout the year, and there are no fees for exhibiting.
