Fairy Tale/Scary Tale

Fearsome, weird, adorable, gorgeous, unsettling, horrifying, magical: Fairy tales meant for children can express the horrors or difficulties of reality, while transforming them into a more tolerable form. The works in this show range from delightful to dark, often encompassing both.

December 6, 2018 – January 12, 2019

Opening Reception:
Saturday, December 22, 4-7pm (4pm: free candlelit concert by Vox Equalis, a 5-woman vocal group specializing in early music; 5-7pm: opening reception)

Brickbottom Gallery

The Brickbottom Gallery is a non-profit exhibition space established in 1989 and run by the Brickbottom Artists' Association (BAA). It is open to emerging and established artists in the greater Boston metropolitan area. Shows are scheduled throughout the year, and there are no fees for exhibiting.
