Lo-Fi Lounge & Closing Reception for Somerville Toy Camera Festival

Saturday, Oct 13, 5-7pm

Our show of toy and lo-fi photographs selected by juror Jennifer Shaw for exhibition as part of the 6th annual Somerville Toy Camera Festival comes to a close on Oct 13.

The closing reception will do double-duty as the venue for the Festival’s “premier social event,” the Lo-Fi Lounge. Join fellow lo-fi and analog photographers to share tips, tricks, trials and tribulations! Free and open to the public.

Somerville Toy Camera Festival

Since 2013, the Festival has celebrated the quirky and creative results that can happen when photographers are forced to loosen their controls, submit to the light and embrace the accidental. Each year since, the Festival has brought a wide range of toy camera photography by US and international artists together in simultaneous shows at galleries throughout the city, and featured related programming including artist talks/panel discussions, workshops, social events, and a darkroom day.
